Gram Panchayat is responsible for good governance and DFVDT believes in helping carry forward its programs and policies and transforming attitudes and practices in communities at various levels.
In fact sustainable development would only be possible with the participation of both primary and secondary stakeholders working together.
DFVDT also works closely with the District Administration in carrying forward their programs at the village level, while sharing its own experiences in community development interventions.
Agriculture, Horticulture, Irrigation, Health, Women and Child Welfare, Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Revenue, etc., are some departments at the District Administration level that DFVDT regularly interacts with for matters relating to community and village development.
