Aksharabhyasam is the tradition which is followed by communities before a child begins education. DFVDT took the initiative to perform aksharabhyasam in the year 2015, and it has been continued ever since. This has resulted in ensuring a very high rate of enrolment in pre – primary and primary schools.
Computer Education is being provided to boys and girls in Domakonda by DFVDT to help children keep pace with the present day norms.
Further, to ensure minimal girl child drop out after high school, in spite of they being good at studies Scholarships have been provided to support them to continue higher studies.
In addition, Supplementary Education services have been initiated for high school children in subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Biological Sciences, etc.,
Several high schools in Domakonda required Infrastructure support such as tables, chairs, etc., required for quality education. This has been addressed by DFVDT.
Supplementary Nutrition for 10th class students leading up to final / Board exams is one more initiative of DFVDT which has enabled children to stay back at school and attend additional classes. This has provided good results.
Coaching is provided by DFVTD for children of 5th to 7th standards to appear for entrance examinations for Government programs such as Gurukula and Navodaya, where if qualified, children’s education including food and accommodation up to 12th standard would be free of cost, there-by not only ensuring quality education but also saving families around Rs.25000 per annum. From 2016 to 2022, of those who underwent coaching at DFVDT, the following number of students have been selected in the respective institutions: Gurukula-295, Navodaya-76.
Coaching has also been provided for entrance exams to Polycet and IIIT and thus far the following number have got admission in to respective courses: Polycet-35, IIIT-20.
