DFVDT has launched various awareness campaigns in Domakonda and Kamareddy district on sanitation, garbage management, school enrolment, personal hygiene, menstrual health, water conservation, child rights, women and girls’ safety, avoiding plastic bags, and COVID-19 protocols. These initiatives aim to address critical issues and promote community well-being.
DFVDT has also recognized and felicitated successful women in administration and entrepreneurship within Domakonda Mandal to inspire others. National days like Republic Day, Independence Day, and Children’s Day are used as opportunities to foster solidarity and gratitude towards the nation, bringing diverse communities together for celebrations.
A highlight of the Republic Day events is the Mana Samskriti Mela, where local women’s groups showcase and sell their products, promoting women entrepreneurship. Schoolchildren actively participate by discussing current affairs and demonstrating scientific skills, creating a vibrant and empowering environment for learning and collaboration.
