Skill Based Job melas are organized periodically by DFVDT to encourage unemployed youth to access various companies in the private sector such as, Corporate hospitals, Banks, Agri Based Companies etc. 

This enables not only the local youth but also those from villages around Domakonda to get employment opportunities. 

Further, 109 girls have undergone health-related skills training with Apollo Skill Development Centre and 89 were placed in different hospitals. 

Apart from this, through direct Job Mela’s, 402 youth have got placements in different companies for different skills.

A total of 15 companies have visited Domakonda village from Hyderabad and have encouraged youth to access skill-based employment opportunities.  

The GMR Skill Development Centre has given training to 201 male youth of which 191 got employment in various companies.
